Bicolano songwriting workshop commences in Legazpi City

The celebration of National Arts Month remains in full swing as the Bicol song writing workshop commences at Mamma Rose Hotel today, February 25, 2026. It is hosted by Albay Arts Foundation and Legazpi City Creative and Industry Development Council, in partnership with the City Government of Legazpi.

KANTURA aims to create a mellifluous and creative space to nurture emerging and passionate Bicolano songwriters while honoring our cultural identity. Moreover, this initiative seeks to reinvigorate the local music scene, noting the emergence of Bicolano songwriters and artists into the mainstream Filipino music.
